PLH has a guest house in Désarmes, which has provided many local residents with jobs during its construction, including building, plumbing, electricity, and preparation of food for labourers.
These jobs have helped local residents earn decent wages to have a better standard of living. The jobs have provided labourers with new skills, such as using new tools for woodworking and construction.
These skills can help them to find other jobs in the present and in the future, which will also help to alleviate poverty for these labourers.
In addition to this, we lead Bible lessons for young children and teenagers, where we share the love and teachings of Jesus, encouraging people to accept Jesus as their saviour.
